Conditions of sale

All goods remain the property of ATS Tiles until paid in full.

All invoices must be paid prior to deliveries or pickups.

Online Orders: Full payment is required in order to order online. Items will be prepared and customer will be notified when payment is confirmed. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to purchase adequate quantities of product to complete the job.

Tiles: All tiles should be checked on receipt. Before installation, it is the purchasers responsibility to ensure that all tiles are correct and of one shade. It is the tiler’s responsibility to check for any visual defects before laying the tile.

NO CLAIMS WILL BE ENTERTAINED ONCE TILES ARE LAID. Installation of tiles equates to the acceptance of the tiles characteristics.

Shade: Crazing and Shade variation is an inherent characteristic of ceramic, porcelain, marble and stone tiles. The supplier will not accept any responsibility in respect of minor shade variation between samples shown to the purchaser and actual tile supplied. The supplier will not accept responsibility for any shade or caliber variation, after installation of tiles.

Size: The dimensions of tiles are indicative dimensions only. All tiles will differ from batch to batch in sizes. We cannot guarantee to supply the same shade and sizing for subsequent orders. If swapping is required because of inadequate order, handling charges will be applied, at the discretion of the supplier.

Products: It is the installer’s responsibility to check for any visual defects before installing the products. All electrical and plumbing accessories must be installed by an appropriate Licensed Tradesman or all warranties will be voided. We recommend you write down the license number on your invoice for warranty purposes.


Deliveries/Pickups: It is the responsibility of the purchaser to check all products ON delivery or pickup. ATS Tiles & Bathrooms staff will open and inspect with the purchaser all breakable products. Any product found damaged on delivery or pick up will be replaced within a reasonable time. Once delivery/pickup dockets are signed, it will be deemed to confirm the receipt of the correct goods in good condition. No claims of short supply will be entertained after goods have been signed for. Incorrect delivery or damaged products must be notified to ATS Tiles within 48 hours (two days) of receipt of products. Claims NOT reported within the time frame will not be accepted. It is the operators/purchasers responsibility if products are scratched or damaged after acceptance and/or during work on the job site.

Warranty: All products are covered with a minimum 12 month warranty. Each supplier provides a warranty level for each individual product. Warranty can only be claimed with a receipt. We recommend that you keep a copy of your receipt for the durable time frame. Warranty does not cover the general wear and tear of products, nor does it cover the inadequate cleaning and maintenance of products. Warranty service call fees may apply.

Storage: ATS Tiles & Bathrooms will not store products longer than 7 working days, unless prior arrangements are made. Such arrangements may incur an extra cost. Should ATS agree to store goods on behalf of the purchaser, full payment of invoice must be received within 30 days of purchase date and ATS Tiles will not accept any responsibility for any damage which may occur, in the time frame agreed upon.

RETURNS: All returns will be handled on a case by case basis and at the sole discretion of ATS Tiles & Bathrooms.

No refund of deposit will be given on cancellation of special orders. No refunds will be given on change of mind or incorrect product purchase.

All returns will incur a 30% restocking fee.

NO returns will be accepted for special orders: e.g Custom made vanities, sale items, clearance items or display items.

A freight charge will apply where an item is to be returned to a supplier. It will be calculated at time of return.

A FULL refund will only apply if goods are deemed not fit for purpose or an alternative cannot be offered. Otherwise a store credit will be offered.

All tiles must be in good / original packaging. ONLY full boxes will be accepted.

Must be of CURRENT shade and approved by the Supplier.
